Using of Particle Swarm for Control of Helicopter

Abstract
The CE150 Helicopter is one of the ranges offered by HUMUSOFT for teaching systems dynamics and control engineering principles. It has two degrees of freedom and is a MIMO system. We consider only Azimuth system for identification and control. There are many approaches to system identification. We choose NN structure and train it by Back-propagation and then use GA and PSO for optimizing the NN’s training. At last we design PSO controller of Azimuth system.
